15th Anniversary EDITION
from the 1st – 4th of October 2026
Are you a very experienced walker, and do you like a challenge?
The Challenge Routes are a good option!
The Challenging routes
Via the beach and the suburbs, you will head towards the mountains, where your climbing skills will be tested. Enjoy the beautiful mountainous nature reserve just north of Marbella and the picturesque village of Ojén to the south. On the narrow rocky paths, you can only walk side by side with two people at the most, so you can focus all your attention on the trees and plants along the way, not to mention the beautiful vistas towards the coast and inland. After experiencing this natural paradise, you walk back to the Walking Village via the suburbs and the city centre. Do you have energy left? Join the After Parties in the Walking Villages.
These routes pass through a protected nature reserve, and signage is minimal. However, we will also provide you with the routes from the app, “All Trails,” and note that in the nature, you will be obliged to carry your own waste. There will be a few check points, aid stations, first aid helpers and a sweeper team to assist you and ensure your safety.
Since these routes are more challenging, and any accident on the mountain can become far more problematic, you must sign a liability waiver & disclaimer: Liability Disclaimer
The start is early, between 6.30 and 7:30 hrs. Please ensure you return before 16hrs so the day counts toward your achievement reward.
Due to safety reasons, we will limit M2DC participants to a maximum of 300. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
You can still register. Click here
Would you like to join the Marbella 4Days Walking too?
That is possible. For example, walk the 10, 20, or 30km routes on Thursday and Wednesday. Add the Challenge Routes for Saturday and Sunday. After you make your choices, our ticket system will calculate the correct prices. (If you change to all days M4DW, we´ll not return the price difference)
What you need to know...
These routes are going through a protected nature reserve; there is minimal signage, and the checkpoints with the associated services are only in inhabited areas again. To ensure the safety of hikers, there are volunteers in the mountains who can lend a helping hand if necessary.
Since this is a more challenging route than usual at our M4DW event, you must sign a liability disclaimer: Liability Disclaimer
